UNIC URW-295 Specifications
A mini crane or mini crawler is designed to work indoors or outdoors and is built for working in low access confined areas. Typically mounted on a dual crawler track chassis with “spider-type” or "x-pattern" outriggers that stabilize the crane this compact, flexible, and versatile crane type is strong enough to lift up to 8.5 tons and can be placed on rooftops or highrise buildings to lift materials. Mini cranes are operated by remote controls, stand-up levers, and swing seat cabs. The enclosed type cab of a mini crane operates like a telescopic boom crawler crane but is much smaller.
In 1982, the concept was first developed by Maeda in Japan, and other manufacturers such as Jekko, and UNIC so followed.
