A nine-axle 750-tonne capacity mobile crane is being exhibited on the Liebherr stand in the colors of King Lifting, which has grown into a major force in the UK crane industry in recent years.
The LTM 1750-9.1 will be King Lifting’s biggest crane and its arrival comes soon after the purchase of two Liebherr 500-tonnes in the past six months.
A Liebherr spokesman said that of all the 60+ machines displayed by the company at Bauma, the LTM 1750-9.1 had the highest price tag. He said that, depending on options and configurations selected, it would cost in the region of four million euros.
A second crane on the Liebherr stand is also coming to the UK after the show. The first unit of the new LR 1100 crawler crane has been bought by Weldex.
