The recently introduced the Tadano GR-1600XL-3 is part of the GR-1600XL product lineup, one of the world's largest rough terrain telescopic boom cranes on the crane market.

The GR-1600XL-3 meets North American emissions restrictions while retaining the performance and specifications of the GR-1600XL-2, which has been well received for various features, including a 61 m six-section main boom, the longest in its class. 

With a compact three-axle carrier, this crane also features total heights and widths that you would find in smaller 120 to 140-ton class Rough Terrain cranes. 

This makes the crane suitable for use in tight confined spaces.  Additionally an assist crane is not needed for the removal and attachment of outriggers and counterweights.  This model also features various inserts and short jibs that strengthen the overall appeal of the 160-ton class RT model.
