A Grove All Terrain Crane has finally been freed from a muddy quagmire in Singleton Park, Wales.

The South Wales Evening Post said, the embedded mobile crane was snared in the sodden ground for 48 hours as it worked to return the park to normal after Noel Gallagher and his High Flying Birds played on Friday night.

Days of intermittent rain caused the Sparrow Crane Hire crane to come a cropper as it’s right wheels sunk sadly into the ground.

The site was cordoned off as while engineers scratched their heads and further rain exacerbated the problem.

But Swansea Council announced that at 1pm the crane was freed from its earthly bonds and was now free.

Simon Inkson, who has been documenting the crane’s journey on social media, wondered jokingly whether Noel Gallagher and his High Flying Birds would be paying for the damage they had done to the park.
