The Terex AC 40/2 All Terrain Crane has a 100' (30.4 m) telescopic main boom with a maximum tip height of 151' (46 m). The fully hydraulic boom system provides for shorter telescopic times and higher load telescoping capacities. The crane is powered by Daimler Chrysler OM 906 LA engine.  A comfortable operator's cab has a sliding door and a large hinged windscreen for optimal viewing.  The 2-seat carrier cab includes air-conditioning keeping the operator comfortable while driving to and from job sites.

This model crane is no longer in production and the Terex-Demag brand of All Terrain cranes was acquired by the Tadano Group.
