With top speeds reaching 25 mpg / 40 kpm RTs generally are used as off-road cranes, but in some cities and countries, these cranes are permitted to travel on the road.  

A City Class Rough Terrain crane is a hybrid of an All-Terrain mobile crane and an RT.  These cranes have higher speeds and thus are able to travel on city streets.  Eliminating the need for a Rough Terrain Crane to be hauled to the job site on a trailer.
