Manitowoc 38124SHL Specifications

No longer in production, the 38-ton lifting capacity Manitowoc 38124SHL is now known as the Manitex 38124SHL. boom truck that

has a 5-section 124' (37, 8 m) proportional boom and a 132' 4" (40, 3 m) maximum main boom tip height.  The maximum tip height with the 1-section 31' (9, 5 m) fixed jib is 163' 7" (49, 9 m).

Includes 2-speed planetary hoist with grooved drum, Anti-two-block system, Load Moment Indicator (LMI) that senses boom hoist cylinder pressure, boom length, and boom angle, Adjustable Out-and-Down outriggers from 7' 2" (2, 2 m) to 22' (6, 7 m) wide, System pressure gauge and rugged, weatherproof, automotive-style electrical system.

In 2002, Manitowoc divested its boom truck product line when Manitowoc acquired the National Boom Truck Company. Manitex became a separate entity along with the USTC, JLG, and Pioneer boom truck product lines. 

Manitex Dealers now fully support this model along with previously produced legacy USTC, JLG, and Pioneer boom crane models.
