Demag AC 200 Cranes for Sale and Rent
Demag AC 200 Specifications
The original Demag AC 200 All Terrain Mobile Crane was produced by Demag Mobile Cranes GmbH, which features a US capacity of 240 USt tons and a maximum telescopic boom length of over 222 feet, ultimately extending to 330 feet with the jib. It comes as a 5- or 6-axle carrier. This is a very compact AT crane. The AC 200 also features speed-dependent rear axle steering, which increases stability and maneuverability, and incorporates Demag’s advanced IC-1 LCD touchscreen crane control system. Axle arrangements may vary per different worldwide regulations.
Terex Demag produced the AC 200-1, which added new features and upgrades over the previous model. Now, Demag is owned by Tadano, and they orginally rebranded to produce the Demag AC 220-5, which has improved crane capacity and a revised lift chart, which is now known as the Tadano AC 5.220-1
Tadano acquired the Terex Corporation’s Demag Mobile Crane division business in 2019. This strategic move added Demag’s lattice-boom crawler cranes and all-terrain cranes to Tadano's portfolio, aimed at positioning the company as a global leader in the lifting industry. Terex acquired the Demag mobile crane division in 2002, known as Demag Mobile Cranes GmbH.
