Manitowoc M250T Specifications

No longer in production, the Manitowoc M250T is the 300-ton USt (272.2 metric ton) Heavy Lift Lattice Boom Truck Crane variant of the M250 Series Crawler Cranes that features the FACT (Fast Aligning Connection Technology) system with 177, 600 lbs. (80, 558 kg) of full counterweight. 

This truck crane utilizes a 450 HP CAT 3406B DITA for the upper superstructure crane works instead of the standard Cummins N14-C450 450 HP for the crawler series and the lower 16 x 8 crane carrier is powered by a 460 HP CAT 3406B diesel engine coupled with a standard 6-forward forward / 1-speed reverse automatic transmission. 

The M250 crawler crane series also includes Manitowoc M250 Series 2 and M250 Series 3 with various counterweight options. 

The Heavy-Lift Full Boom and Jib combinations are 70' - 300' (21.3 - 91.4 m) main boom / 40' - 120' (12.2 - 36.5 m) jib for a maximum combination of 230' + 120'. 

The Long-Reach Boom and Jib combinations are 190' - 320' (57.9 - 97.5 m) main boom / 40' - 120' (12.2 - 36.5 m) jib for a maximum combination of 260' + 120' (79.2 + 36.6 m).
