XCMG XGC55T Specifications
The XCMG XGC55T telescopic crawler crane is suitable for use in various applications, such as foundation and piling work, bridge and tunnel construction, and many more. The machine offers a maximum lifting capacity of 55 t, a lifting speed of 140 m/min, a five-section boom (the boom bracket is 10.6 – 41 m), and an auxiliary boom combination length of 41+16 m.

Crane Superstructure
Engine
XCMG telescopic crawler crane XGC55T comes with a Dongfeng Cummins QSB6.7 engine (EU Stage IIIA). It has a rated power/speed of 165 kW at 1800 rpm. The air filter is reliable, stable, and dust-proof, ensuring the machine runs smoothly and long. The fuel tank capacity is 550L.
Hoist Gear
Hoisting speed is 0 – 140 m / min with no load. The wire rope diameter/ length for the Main and auxiliary winch is 18 mm. The rated single-line pull is 5.2 t.
Luffing Gear
Luffing winch is of single cylinder with front support luffing. Boom lifting time is ≤ 60 s.
Electric Control System
CAN system for ECU controller foot accelerator, and hand accelerator which has efficient control of the engine speed. The system uses DC 24V for power supply with the negative ground and a single cable system. PLC programmable controller is used as the core of the control system. The system consists of several parts such as engine control, safety control, pilot control, load moment limiter control, and auxiliary function control. Real-time monitoring has display parameters of engine temperature, oil pressure, and buzzer warning when the load exceeds the safety limit; at the same time, analysis of current conditions such as lifting load weight, boom elevation angle and radius through load moment limiter, if any values exceed safe limits, a three-color warning light and buzzer will give "sound and light warning", and restricts control of hazardous actions by program control.
Slewing Gear
Slewing unit is arranged at the turntable right front driven by the motor with a planetary gear reducer. The external unit is engaged by slewing ring for rotation with a hydraulic buffer and free swing function. Adjust the boom lifting active line with the lead line in a straight line to ensure safety in operation. The planetary gear reducer features a constant closed disc brake for reliable work and easy maintenance.
Slewing ring
A single row, 4-point contact ball type slewing ring with a strong load-bearing capacity to ensure the superstructure’s 360° slewing operation is safe and stable. Slewing speed is 0 - 2.0 r /min.
Hydraulic System
The system has hydraulic proportional valve control with precision control. It has good fine motion and a wide speed range. The hydraulic system for lifting operations and the travel hydraulic system share one constant power and load sensitive A8V107 twin-pump with the slewing system is supplied by the oil by displacement gear pump.
Crane Carrier
Comprises of the car body, crawler track, and travel gear. The carbody and crawler use a plug in connection.
Track Frame Extension / Retraction
Exchange undercarriage travel valve to track frame retraction and track frame extension/retraction is achieved by track frame telescopic cylinder which facilitates narrow site transition.
Travel Gear
The machine travels a straight line or turns around with the help of a travel motor, speed reducer, and drive sprocket. Achieves a load travel speed of 0 - 2.3 km / h and a load travel speed of 0 - 1.5 km / h.
Hook Block
A single number of 5.5t hook block of 520 kgs, a 25t hook block of 315 kgs, and 4.5t hook block of 93 kgs.
Counterweight
Superstructure counterweight capacities are one slab of 6t, two slabs of each 5.5t, and two slabs of 2.6t for counterweight combinations of 6t, 11.5t, and 16.7t.
Safety Devices
Comprise of emergency stop switch, pilot control switch, load moment limiter, hoist limit switch, level meter, slewing locking device, rope-end limiter, etc.
Emergency Switch
Press the emergency stop switch to stop the engine, and to stop all the machine movements.
Pilot Control Switch
Press the switch, and the electric system for the lifting operation starts.
Load Moment Limiter
When the lifting load exceeds the total rated lifting capacity and the boom angle exceeds the rated limit, the load moment limiter will send a warning signal and cut off the crane movement.
Height Limiter
Consists of a boom and jib end limit switch and the weight which will automatically stop the hoisting movement when the hook block center is raised 710 mm to the boom sheave center.
Slewing Lock Mechanism The device is used to lock the turntable during transportation to avoid free swing.
Rope-end Limiter
Designed stop hook block lowering with only three to five turns of wire rope left on the winch drum.
Level Meter
The level meter is set on the front of the engine hood to monitor the ground surface for operation.
