Telehandlers Cranes for Sale and Rent
Telehandlers Specifications
Telehandlers are used on agriculture, construction, and industrial sites and are a hybrid of a telescopic boom crane and a conventional forklift/lift truck; also known as telescopic handlers, teleporters, or telescopic boom forklifts these rubber-tired lifting machines come standard with hydraulic multistage main boom sections.
Some Telehandlers are equipped with front and rear stabilizer outriggers increasing the lifting capacity and are known as Heavy Duty Telehandlers. Recently 'Roto' telescopic handlers or Rotating Telehandlers have been introduced to the lifting marketplace; the superstructure rotates 360 plus degrees on a turntable offering operators more flexibility to lift and place loads.
The most common attachment for a telehandler is a pallet fork to lift palletized loads from trailers onto rooftops or other high structures.
Newer Model Telehandlers have various attachments available such as Spreader Bars, Aerial Work Platforms, Trash Hoppers, Material Buckets, Bucket Grabs, Coil Manipulators, Coil Pick Up Devices, Reel Handlers, Truss Booms, Jib Extensions, Lifting Hooks, Clamps, and Skid steer adapters.
Side-Shift, Side Tilt, and Swing Carriages are also available for precision load placement and are typically used with specialized forks, such as cubing forks, lumber forks, and standard pallet forks.
With more types of quick-release telehandler attachments being introduced, these multifunction machines are replacing the need for wheel loaders, skid steers, aerial lifts, and smaller rough terrain cranes on construction sites worldwide.
