The Manitowoc 18000 lattice boom crawler is a 825 USt (750 metric ton) lifting capacity crane with the MAX-ER attachement increasing the 18000's base capacity, thus eliminating the time and expense of transporting and setting up a larger crane.
The 18000 offers various boom, jib, and attachment configurations designed for Heavy Lifts. The 18000 utilizes the No. 55A Lattice Boom, that increases the load rating with the MAX-ER attachment. Without the MAX-ER, the 18000 is rated at a 660-ton (600 metric ton) capacity and a 500-ton (450 metric ton) capacity when using the No. 55/79A Boom.
The 18000 is powered by a Cummins QSX15-C-500 600 HP (447 kW) Tier 3 engine, with EPIC controls and CAN-BUS technology for fast, efficient self-assembly and disassembly capabilities.
