No longer in production, the 275-ton (220 mt) lifting capacity Grove GMK5275 All Terrain Crane is equipped with a 44 - 223 ft. (13.3 - 68 m) seven-section full power MEGAFORM boom with Twin Lock pinning, 39 - 69 ft. (12 - 21 m) hydraulic offset luffing bi-fold swing away and 2 x 26 ft. (8 m) intermediate lattice inserts for a maximum tip height of 354' (107.9 m).
This model comes with 169, 700 lbs (77 mt) of total counterweight with a hydraulic removal system, MEGATRAK independent hydro-pneumatic suspension, and Allison transmission.
The lower carrier chassis is powered by a 543 HP (405 kW) six-cylinder Mercedes-Benz OM 502 LA at 1800 rpm for a max torque of 2600 Nm (1918 ft/lb) at 1300 rpm (Tier 4i), an alternate Mercedes-Benz OM 502 LA, eight-cylinder 563 HP (420 kW) at 1800 rpm, max torque 2700 Nm (1991 ft/ lb) at 1200 rpm (Tier 3) is available.
