The 8.5-ton (7.7 metric ton) Grove YB4409 industrial carry deck crane is an ideal crane for yard and industrial plant use. Excellent pick and carry capacities combined with a dual fuel engine provide the versatility needed in plants and confined lifting spaces.  Four-wheel, coordinated steering ensures maneuverability in tight spaces.

The YB4409 has a three-section telescopic boom with 25 ft 2 in (7.6 m) tip height and an optional 6' (1.8 m) fixed extension. This crane is powered by a 63, 4 kW (85 bhp) Cummins diesel engine or 59, 6 kW (80 bhp) GM EFI dual-fuel engine.

This crane is part of the Grove YB4400 Series and is no longer in production.
