Krupp Cranes for Sale and Rent
Krupp Specifications
The Krupp Mobilkrane GmbH pioneered the All Terrain Crane concept. in 1987 Krupp acquired Gottwald Kranetechnologie hydraulic crane division, supplementing the range of mobile cranes up to 1, 000 metric tons. Gottwald AMK models became the KMK Series.
In 1995, the product line was acquired by Grove Worldwide. Still based in Wilhelmshaven Germany, the Krupp range of KMK All Terrain Cranes used a special hydropneumatic suspension, and currently, the patented system is called MEGATRAK which is still in use today in many later generation Grove All Terrain Cranes.
While no longer in production, Krupp Mobile Cranes are still used worldwide and can be found for sale on the secondary used crane market.
Manitowoc Group authorized Grove Crane distributors fully support previously produced Krupp Cranes worldwide.
