The Grove GMK5160 is the European designation of the Grove GMK5175. and is a 160-ton metric (160, 000 kg) / 175-ton Ust (350, 000 lbs.) maximum lifting capacity All Terrain mobile crane.
Equipped with a five-section main telescopic boom of 13 - 49 m (43' - 161') and with jib options this AT crane boasts a maximum tip height of 98.4 m (323') with a working radius of 68.6 m (225').
Grove Worldwide purchased Krupp Moblikrane GmbH in 1995 and this model was previously known as the KMK 5175 (US Spec) / KMK 5160 or KMK5140 (Euro Specs).
The base weight of this 5-axle crane is 60, 400 kg (133, 230 lbs.) and comes with 45, 000 kg (99, 200 lbs.) of total counterweight.
Standard power is a Mercedes OM 336 A (103 kW/139 HP) upper superstructure engine and lower carrier Mercedes OM 442 LA (370 kW/503 HP) coupled with an automatic transmission this model crane achieves a highway speed of 74 km/h (46 mph).
