Kenz Figee Group, a specialist in the design, manufacturing and maintenance of offshore lifting and hoisting systems, has a new owner, MeeMaken BV.

MeeMaken is an active participation company with a large worldwide network and a strong portfolio comprising service companies in the offshore energy business. The former senior management at Mammoet, Roderik van Seumeren and Natasja Sesink, will be the new owners of Kenz Figee as partners with MeeMaken.

In a statement, Kenz Figee said: “We are very happy with this takeover, not only because of the long term vision of MeeMaken, but also because they believe in the synergy with the other companies within the group.”

Robert de Rijcke, Commercial Director of Kenz Figee Group, said: “We believe that MeeMaken can lift us to the next professional level. The strengths and joint success of all of the companies in the group including Selmers, Euro-Rigging, Alltec Lifting Systems, Be One Development and LiftWerx, will be combined so that a larger market can be served.”

The name Kenz Figee Group as well as the business activities of the two active business units (Kenz Cranes and Kenz Crane Services) will remain unchanged.
