The 285-ton USt (258 metric ton) lifting capacity Terex HC 285 (American Crane Corporation) lattice boom crawler crane comes fully equipped with 80' - 300' (24.4 - 91.5 m) of main lattice boom (92HI tubular chord boom and offset boom tip) and a 100' of lattice jib extensions (16HL fixed jib) for a total maximum system length of 378' (115 m) and a 280' (85.3 m) maximum hook radius.
The 10.5' crane width and 12' height full crane system transport with 300' boom, 100' jib, plus full counterweight of 263,000 lbs. (120 mt) comprises approximately sixteen loads.
This model crane features power up/down, free gall on main and auxiliary drums optional, shockless stop system gradually retards operating speed when crane approaches lifting load or boom limits, two-speed travel, and hydraulically removable counterweight system.
Standard power is a Cummins QSL9 350 HP (261 kW) diesel engine.
