No longer in production, the Grove TMS540 is a truck-mounted hydraulic mobile crane with a 40-ton lift capacity and a full-power four-section boom length up to 90 feet. An optional 2-piece telescopic swing-away jib extension of 54 feet is available. Powered by a 3126B Caterpillar six-cylinder turbocharged 300hp engine, this crane comes with a suspension and shock absorber system, making for a comfortable ride, even at its top speed of 65 mph. It is available in 6x4 and 6x6 drive configurations.
A Grove TMS540E variant is also available and while this series is out of production, the Manitowoc Group global network of dealers provide support and parts for this series crane.
