No longer in production, the 65-ton (60 metric ton) Terex AC 60/3 or upgraded Demag AC 60-3 features a lighter 33.8' - 131.2' (10.3 - 40 m) main telescopic boom with a maximum tip height of 190' (58 m) with 26.5' - 49.2' (8 - 15 m) two-piece jib and the fully telescopic hydraulic boom system provides shorter telescoping times and high telescopic load capacities.

Powered by a single Mercedes Benz (Daimler Chrysler) OM 501 LA engine, this model features a spacious and comfortable cab crane operator's cabin that is tiltable to 20° and comes with a sliding door, a large hinged windscreen, and the two-seat carrier cabin comes with air-conditioning. 

The latest variant now produced by Tadano, the AC 3.060.1 comes with a longer main boom.
