Now produced by Tadano, the 9-axle Terex AC 1000 (Demag) All Terrain Crane can be driven on the road with the 50 m main boom attached. The full system length is 163 meters (boom/jib). Ideal applications include wind turbines, tower cranes, and the placement of major equipment on high-rise buildings.
Terex rebranded this model after they reintroduced the Demag brand. Briefly, known as a Demag AC 1000-9, this model is now unified under the Tadano brand is branded as the Tadano AC 9.700-1
