Terex Demag CC 1500 Specifications
Manufactured from 2003-2005, the Terex-Demag CC 1500 lattice boom crawler crane was built at the Demag plant in Zweibrucken, Germany. This crane has a 300 metric ton / 330 USt capacity and features and during production was the most powerful crane in its category.
This crane features a spacious comfortable operators cab with the innovative IC-1 control system, excellent rigging times, and optimized transport weights and dimensions.
The flexibility of this crane is proven in the multiple boom + jib combinations.
Boom combinations S and L
Lattice-type tubular chord structure fabricated of high-strength fine grain structural steel with quick-disconnect pinning.
SH Main boom: foot section 10.5 m (used to install winch W1), inserts 6 m and 12 m, tapered insert 6 m, boom head 1.5 m. Main boom lengths: 18-84 m.
SH / LH (SGL variable) Main boom: foot section 10.5 m (used to install winch W1), inserts 6 m and 12 m, tapered insert 6 m, extended by inserts 6 m and 12 m (type 2116), boom top section 7.5 m. Main boom lengths: 42-102 m.
SW Main boom: foot section 10.5 m (used to install winch W1), inserts 6 m and 12 m, tapered insert 6 m, boom head 1.5 m. Luffing fly jib: foot section 4.5 m, inserts 6 m and 12 m, jib top section 7.5 m. Main boom lengths: 24-60 m. Luffing fly jib lengths: 18-72 m.
LF Main boom S: same as SH. Boom lengths: 30-72 m. Main boom L: same as SH/LH. Boom lengths: 54-90 m. Fixed fly jib L: foot section 6 m, inserts 12 m, jib top section 6 m. Fixed fly jib lengths: 12-36 m.
Counterweight: 100 t + 20 t central ballast on carrier, 120 t counterweight as option
This crane is powered by a DaimlerChrysler diesel engine type OM 501 LA, 260 kW (353 hp) at 2000 1/min, torque 2000 Nm at 1080 1/min. The engine complies with EURO II / EPA regulations. Pump distribution gearbox with five variable displacement axial piston pumps incl. electronic control system, and gear pumps.
