The PM 100 SP is a heavy-duty, truck-mounted arctulating hydraulic knuckle boom crane deisgned for demanding lifting tasks. Known for its impressive power-to-weight ratio, its design uses high-tensile steel and an octagonal boom profile to maximize load capacity while minimizing the crane's overall weight and mounting space.
Here are the key specifications and features of the PM 100 SP:
- Capacity & Torque: It features a load torque of 760 kNm and a maximum carrying capacity of up to 11.56 tons.
- Outreach: Available in configurations with up to 9 hydraulic extensions. When combined with a jib, it can achieve a horizontal reach of up to 110 feet (22.5 meters) and a vertical reach of 122.5 feet.
- Maneuverability: Features a 15° negative angle on the secondary boom and a 20° angle on the jib, allowing precise operation in highly confined spaces.
- Safety Features: Equipped with radio-controlled outriggers with a 9.1-meter opening, the MCS stabilization system, and a Type 5 interlock system that electronically calculates load capacity based on exact outrigger extension.
- Rotation: Features an unlimited continuous slewing ring rotation system built for intensive, repetitive use.
The PM line is now manufactured under the Manitex Articulating Cranes (MAC) division or the Tadano Group depending on the region.
