Lowry Specifications

Lift King Industries bought the manufacturing rights of Lowry Industrial Lift Trucks Ltd., Georgetown, Ontario. Lowry entered into receivership under Canadian laws earlier this year in 2006. Lift King was one of Lowry's biggest creditors. Lift King's decision to buy the Lowry rights will allow the company to establish entrance into the heavy capacity cushion-tire forklift market. Additionally, the acquisition permits Lift King to commit considerable manufacturing capacity and expertise to support and promote the Lowry product line. In 2007, Lift King will introduce a new 50, 000- to 60, 000-pound capacity cushion-tire forklift under the Lowry brand name.
