The battery powered Liebherr LR 1250.1 unplugged lattice boom crawler crane is driven by an electric engine. During operation the crane can be connected to an electric power supply and continually work while connected; this crane also operates without a power supply cable for up to four hours, hence the “unplugged” designation.
The performance and availability compared to the diesel version of the Liebherr LR 1250.1 is exactly the same as what crane operators and owners have come to expect from a Liehberr crane, but much quieter.
