Grove GMK5135 Specifications
The 135 USt (110 mt) lifting capacity Grove GMK5135 All Terrain Crane was based on the previous success of the noncurrent Grove GM5120B.
This model comes with a 42 ft – 167 ft (12, 9 m – 50, 8 m) five-section full power boom and a 36 ft – 59 ft (11 m – 18 m) manual offset bi-fold lattice swing-away jib extension; with the optional inserts the max tip height is 292' (89 m) with a load chart radius of 220' (67 m).
The max counterweight is 88, 400 lbs. (40, 100 kg) and comes with a hydraulic removal system.
The lower chassis crane carrier is powered by a 375 kW (503 hp) Mercedes OM 502 LA eight-cylinder turbocharged diesel engine coupled with a 16-speed G240-16 transmission and 2-speed transfer case while the upper crane works superstructure is powered by a Mercedes OM 924 LA Turbo engine.
The over-the-road capabilities are enhanced by the patented MEGATRAK independent hydro-pneumatic suspension system. While this crane is no longer in production this model is highly sought after on the various used crane marketplaces.
The GMK5135 had a very successful production run from 2008 to 2018 and is still fully supported by a global network of Grove Distributors authorized by the Manitowoc Group
