Grove GMK3050 Specifications
Produced from 1996 to 2006, the Grove GMK3050 All-Terrain crane features a lifting capacity of 55 ton USt (50 metric ton), a 125' (38 m) main boom, and a 49 ft. (15 m) 2-piece jib for tip height of 182.7' (55.7 m).
No longer in production this popular model crane be found on the used crane marketplace and is fully supported by a global network of authorized Manitowoc Group Grove All Terrain distributors.
The crane is powered by a turbo-charged after-cooled 6-cylinder Mercedes-Benz OM 501 LA diesel engine that generates up to 349 hp (260 kW) and has an Allison MD 3066 P automatic transmission system, with a 2-speed transfer case, inter-axle differential lock, and integrated central power take-off for the second axle line.
It comes standard with a full-vision aluminum cab which comes with safety glass windows and an adjustable, hydraulically suspended operator’s seat. The cab also has an engine-independent heater, armrest-integrated crane controls, and it can be tilted forward by 60 degrees for easy access to the transmission, batteries, engine, and hydraulic pumps.
The load moment and anti-two block system, which comes with audio/visual warning and control lever lockout, provides an electronic display of boom radius, length, angle, tip height, and load indicator.
Options available include; air conditioning for the cab, an electronic drive retarder, trailing boom kit, CD player, and a second spotlight.
