Discontinued in 1978 the 65-ton Link-Belt HC-138 is a Truck Mounted Lattice Boom Crane that has maximum boom length of 160' with available jibs up to 50' for total tip height of 210'.  The standard engine is a Waukesha F817-G six cylinder engine, some models have the optional GM 6V-71N or GM 8V-71N engine.   It has a four-axle 8x4 drive configuration, and features full floating walking beam support, to maintain traction and mobility on uneven roads.  The standard truck weight with bumper counterweight is 48, 160 lbs minus turntable bearing.  Once on a job site lattice boom truck cranes are great for prefab work and hanging steel due to their fast line speeds.
