Kobelco BM700 Specifications
The Kobelco BM700 is a heavy duty cycle crane that used for foundation work that is manufactured in Japan and is primarily used by piling contractors. The maximum lifting capacity is 65-tons at a 4.1-meter radius. It is equipped with a 54.9-meter main lattice boom and lifts 1.1 tons at a 40-meter radius. An optional jib attachment is available from 6.1 to 18.3 meters that is offsettable to 10 and 30 degrees.
The crane is powered by a 6 cylinder water-cooled Mitsubishi 6D22-T engine rated at 230 PS (170 kW) at 1, 800 rpm and has a maximum torque of 102kg-m at 1, 200 rpm (JIS D1005). The Engine Speed Sensing (ESS) system is designed for 100% efficient use of engine power for effortless, steady operation.
It has a powerful winch first layer a with maximum line pull of 17 tonnes and wide large diameter drum of dimensions 462mm P.C.D x 522 mm wide drums that is able to store a maximum of 32-meter rope at its first layer. Rope capacity for the front and rear are 175 meters and 278 meters respectively.
The total counterweight is 20.55 tons and is divided into two pieces that are mounted behind the crane’s compartment. The operating weight of the crane is approximately 65 tons when equipped with the full counterweight, 9.1-meter basic boom, and a 65-ton hook block.
This crane can also be configured for clamshell and dragline applications.
