Comedil is now under the Terex Brand and manufactures Flat Top, Luffing Boom Tower Cranes, Hammerhead Tower Cranes, and Self-Erecting Tower Cranes with lifting capacities from 2 to 40 tons. Comedil was acquired by Terex Corp. in 1998.
Comedil was founded by the Moritsch brothers in Ponte Nelle Alpi, Italy. Comedil acquired “Ferro”, a manufacturer of self-erecting cranes located in Cusano Milanino, Italy which is now part of Terex Tower Cranes.
