American 840 Specifications

Based in Wilmington, NC, the American Hoist & Derrick Co. (commonly known as American Crane) manufactured crawlers, derricks, and lattice boom truck cranes, which are still in use today. In 1998, American Crane Corporation was acquired by Terex and continued to produce crawler cranes under the Terex American brand. PVE Cranes now produces the American Crane Crawler product line.
