Tadano AC 2.040-1 Specifications

The super quiet 40-ton maximum lifting capacity 2-axle Tadano AC 2.040-1 All Terrain Mobile Crane was the first model to merge the combined technologies from the Demag and Tadano AT platforms to engineer an advanced two-axle AT Crane.

The robust main four-section telescopic boom 34.3'-115.5' (10.5-35.2 m) enables multiple vertical boom positions to lift loads of up to 16, 755 lbs. (8, 000 kg) at a lifting radius of 26.2 ft. (8 m).

The engineers included the Demag IC‑1 Plus control system, which enables this tight crab steering AT to take advantage of maneuvering into the tightest of spaces to maximize the lifting capacity regardless of the outrigger configurations.

Added technology includes E-Pack for zero-emission crane operation, a surround-view camera system providing enhanced safety for the crane operator while lifting on the job site. The purpose-built safety ensures engagement of the Flex Base outrigger system, which extends to any point within the available range.

For easy on-the-road travel, this model stays under the 26, 455 lbs. axle load limit, even with the 2, 425 lbs. counterweight,  and travels at a highway speed of 53 mph (85 km/h). Off-road, this compact yet powerful lifter offers unmatched gradeability and comfortable travel on all types of terrain.
