The Link-Belt LS-718 is a 250-ton (226.75 mt) lattice boom crawler crane known for its heavy lift capabilities, featuring a pin-connected, tubular boom made from high-strength alloy steel. 

Configure for Lifting, Duty Cycle, Clam Shell, and Pile Driving Applications. 

Engine Power: GM 8V92TA or Cummins KT 1150-C 450

Key Features and Specifications:

  • Lifting Capacity: 250 tons (226.75 metric tons). 
  • Boom Construction: Features a pin-connected, tubular boom constructed from high-strength, quenched and tempered alloy steel. 
  • Boom Length: Available with a basic 70-foot (21 m) heavy-duty boom that can be extended up to 290 feet (80 m), or a longer-range boom extending to a maximum of 360 feet (109 m). 
  • Self Erection System: Incorporates a self-erecting mast and boom system that allows for faster assembly without special equipment. 
  • Crawler System: Uses a hydraulic-powered, independent track drive system for travel and steering, with adjustable hydraulic cylinders for track adjustment.
