Discontinued in 1993 the Link-Belt HC-218A is a 100-ton (90t m) truck mounted lattice boom crane with an available 40'-180' main boom plus 30'-60' of offsettable jib lengths. The standard engine on the carrier is a GM 6V-92TA 6 cylinder diesel. The upper is powered by a GM 6-71N or a Cummins N855-P220. This an excellent machine for steel erection due to the fast line speed.
