Grove GMK6250 Specifications

No longer in production, the 6-axle Grove GMK6250 All-Terrain Mobile Crane features a 250-ton (227 mt) lifting capacity and is designed for heavy lifting in tight spaces, providing significant reach and lifting power for large-scale infrastructure and construction projects.

• Maximum Lift Capacity: 250 tons (227 t).
• Main Boom Length: Features a 197 ft (60 m) six-section full-power boom.
• Maximum Tip Height: Reaches up to 322 ft (98 m) when equipped with jib extensions.
• Jib Options: Includes a 43–72 ft (13–22 m) hydraulic offset bi-fold swingaway jib. 

Crane Performance Features

• Engine Options: Standard models are powered by a 525 hp (392 kW) Cummins N14-525 turbocharged diesel engine, though Mercedes-Benz engine variants are also available.
• MEGATRAK Suspension: Features an independent hydro-pneumatic system that allows all wheels to stay on the ground while providing an automatic leveling system for highway travel.
• Transmission: Equipped with an Allison CLT 755 five-speed automatic transmission.
• Steering: A dual-circuit steering system enables all-wheel steering and "crab-steer" modes for enhanced maneuverability. 

GMK6250L Variant 

The "L" version (GMK6250L) offers an extended main boom compared to the standard model. 

• Extended Boom: Reaches up to 236 ft (72 m) compared to the standard 197 ft.
• Counterweight: Includes a 154, 300 lb (77.15 t) counterweight with a hydraulic removal system.
