Grove GMK5220 Specifications

Introduced in 2005, the Grove 220t (metric) GMK5220 (GMK5275 in the USA) has been in production since 2006. It has a 68 m 7-section main boom and a jib length up to 37 m. For a maximum reach that can be extended to up to 108 m through the addition of jib attachments.

This crane supersedes the GMK5200. The GMK5220 is stronger than the GMK5200, and has longer “O” shaped MEGAFORM boom and steer-by-wire control on 4th and 5th axle. 

Equipped with Grove’s unique TWIN-LOCK system, it has a fully hydraulic, seven-section main boom length of 223 feet. All-wheel multiple mode steering provides unrivaled job site mobility and the exclusive MEGATRAK suspension system enhances drivability and traction both on and off-road.

Combined with fast highway speeds and excellent off-road performance, the Grove GMK5220 is both capable lifter.
