The 80-ton Ust Grove TMS800-2 is a truck-mounted crane that is the successor to the highly popular Grove TMS800E that utilizes features developed for larger cranes and scales them down into a highly efficient "taxi crane" configuration.
Crane Specifications

The completely redesigned, lightweight carrier permits excellent roadability. The crane can carry its entire 28, 000 lbs of counterweight without exceeding axle and tire limits where road regulations allow. For regions with strict gross vehicle weight (GVW) legalities, it can carry 18, 000 lbs of counterweight and stay comfortably under 100, 000 lbs GVW and 25, 000 lbs per axle. By eliminating wing weights, it maintains a narrow travel width of just 8.3 ft.
The crane features raised rear outrigger boxes (by ~5 inches) and front outrigger jacks (by 3.5 inches) to drastically improve ground clearance and departure angles. It is also the first TMS crane to offer MAXbase as an option. This technology allows the outriggers to extend asymmetrically, accelerating setup on congested or irregular job sites while increasing overall lifting capacities.
The TMS800-2 as the larger 115-ton aluminum premium carrier shares the same lower Grove TMS9000-2. The superstructure cab features the Manitowoc Group proprietary Crane Control System (CCS) with intuitive jog-dial displays and integrated cameras to safely monitor blind spots and hoists.
