RO Corporation TC-2057 Specifications

In 1997,  Terex acquired Simon companies including Simon-RO “Stinger”, a manufacturer of boom trucks under brand name of RO “Stinger”, which becomes part of Terex Cranes. They manufactured boom trucks with lifting capacities from 20, 000 -70, 000 lbs.

RO Stinger brand of boom truck cranes was developed throughout the 1960s and 19'70s and is mainly credited for paving the way for the modern Boom Truck today. Design elements of the R.O. Stinger product line of boom trucks can be seen today in other brands, and even on much larger boom truck cranes that now exceed 80-ton Capacity.

In 2019, Load King acquired the Terex product line of boom truck cranes, crossover boom trucks, and the truck crane line. Load King is a subsidiary of Custom Truck One Source who manufactures specialized equipment and trailers.
