The 550 USt (450 mt) lifting capacity Liebherr LTM 1450-8.1 All-Terrain Mobile Crane features a long and powerful 279' (85 m) seven section main telescopic boom. This 8-axle crane distributes axle loads evenly, increasing mobility, and reducing set-up time on-site; enabling this crane to support a wide range of transport weights and axle load versions. 

The tight ballast (counterweight) radius is ideal for constricted conditions, and the full ballast (counterweight) radius boosts capacity at maximum ranges. 

The single Liebherr engine concept powers the LTM 1450-8.1, reducing weight and enabling the crane superstructure to be powered by a mechanical shaft. Gear shafts are routed from the distributor gear in the substructure via two gears through the center of the slewing ring to the pump distributor gear in the superstructure.

The ECOmode allows this model crane to operate more efficiently, reducing fuel consumption and overall maintenance costs.
