A family-owned and operated business from Day 1, Highway Equipment was founded in 1933 by DL Reynolds and JF Docherty in the Oakland section of Pittsburgh. Today, we are still owned and operated by the Reynolds family, with Thomas H. Reynolds serving as President.

Through the years, Highway Equipment has grown steadily. We now have 6 locations in Pennsylvania, Ohio, Virginia, and North Carolina including Machinery Rental (MRC), a division of Highway Equipment. Continued expansion is part of our overall strategy.
