Down Cab Rough Terrain Cranes feature down-style crane operator cabins designed for refineries, general contractors, industrial plants, and are popular yard cranes. Typically, lifting capacities range from 10 US tons up to 35 US tons and provide "pick and carry" capabilities, and are able to access extremely tight working areas.

These cranes also work well for Maintenance, Railroad maintenance, Hi-Rail Mounted, Mining Equipment Maintenance, and Heavy Maintenance. The down-cab operator's cab is fixed and does not swing with the crane.
