The 80-ton USt (77.6 metric ton) lifting-capacity Link-Belt LS-138H II superseded the Link-Belt LS-138H. When fully equipped, this model has a maximum conventional lattice boom length of 200 feet (60.9 m), and the boom/jib combination system length is 180 feet of lattice boom (54.7 m) plus a 60-foot (18.3 m) jib.
Includes counterweight removal system with remote control to improve self-assembly, lightweight modules for ease of transportation, compact travel drives to improve clearance and serviceability, two-piece 50, 500 lbs. counterweight combination, pin-on boom hoist, improved jib with greater capacities, like the Link-Belt LS-218H, and a broader and longer lower (side frames hydraulically retract to 11 feet 11 inches for transport).
The LS-138H II is no longer in production and was superseded by the Link-Belt 138 HSL.
