No longer in production, the Demag AC 100 (Tadano) All Terrain crane has a 120 ton (100 t) max lift capacity, a 164' (50 m) main boom length, and a 108' (33 m) max jib system length. It has a 13.3 t (12.7 t) counterweight, which is carried on the crane, for a 12-ton (10.8 t) axle load.
The Demag AC 100 has an advanced engine and transmission system and also has a hydropneumatic suspension system—making all axles hydraulically blockable—and an anti-lock braking system.
The crane operator enjoys an air-suspended ride, heated driver and passenger seats, safety glazing protecting the cab, air conditioning, a vertically adjustable steering wheel, and ergonomic controls.
Additional options include a 7-ton (6.3 t) counterweight which is integrated with the standard counterweight and installed hydraulically by the crane itself, 4.9 ft. (1.50 m) long sheaves (excellent for indoor projects), 1 or 2 part foldaway jibs, and a modular axle.
