The Manitowoc Group produced the five-axle Grove GMK5200-1 from 2015 to 2023,  and it was one of the most powerful AT Cranes in its class, featuring a 64 m main boom and an optional VIAB turbo coupling, which enables wear-free starting and braking.  The single-engine concept met emission standards while reducing running costs by 30% compared to older models, thanks to 30% less diesel consumption.

The simple logistics, thanks to the exchangeable, self-rigging auxiliary hoist and the exchangeable counterweights (available for the GMK5180-1, GMK5250L-1, GMK5250XL-1, and GMK6300L-1 models), are outstanding.
