Equipped with four section main boom with manual section and swing away jib. Powered by an 8.2L Detroit Diesel engine that has a block heater and ether injector. Starts and runs well.
Crane also has hydraulic tank heater and methanol injection system to help with cold weather performance. Center section, transmission, and some cylinders leak a little, but otherwise very clean for age.
This crane is part of our operated/bare rental fleet and is ready to work. We have two of these nearly identical units available.

The Link-Belt HSP-8028S is a 28-ton (25.4 metric ton) capacity Rough Terrain Crane. Standard three section main boom is 28' 9"-70' 3" (8.76 m - 21.41 m) with two power sections. Optional 49' 6" two section and 91' four section main boom configurations are available. Jib sections are a 24' (7.32 m) lattice fly and a 14' 6" (4.42 m) A-Frame offsettable.
The carrier is a standard 4 x 4 x 4 that is 8'0 (2.44 m) wide with a 121" (3.07) wheelbase. Standard Allision 4-Speed fully automatic transmission powered by either a GM 8.2N or a Cummins V378C engine. The GVW with 3 section boom is 45, 987 lbs (20, 860 kg).
