The 40-ton (36.3 mt) lifting capacity Grove TMS640 is a truck-mounted telescopic boom crane with a full-power four-section 34' - 105' (10.4 - 32 m) telescopic main boom coupled with a two-section swing-away jib extension of 29'-51' (8.8 - 15.5 m) for maximum tip height of 163' (49.7 m).

Powered by a 300 HP Cummins 6CTA six-cylinder turbocharged engine, this model crane has a proven suspension and shock absorber system, making for a comfortable ride, even at the top speed of 50 mph.

The Grove TMS640 sets up quickly, can access most spaces, and has a relatively low GVW of 72, 225 lbs (32, 761 kg) distributed on a 4-axle chassis. 

While no longer in production, this model crane can be found for sale online and is still fully supported by the Manitowoc Group's network of global Grove dealers.
