The 80-ton (75-ton metric) lifting capacity Grove RT880E Rough Terrain Crane utilizes the MEGAFORM boom, and this crane has a 20-degree tiltable Full Vision Crane Operators Cabin for improved visibility.
No longer in production, this model crane is still fully supported by a global network of authorized Manitowoc Group Grove Crane distributors.
The main four section telescopic boom length features a 41' - 128' (12.6 - 39 m) with a two stage 33' - 56' (10 - 17 m) jib extension, plus optional 20' (6.1 m) and 40' (12.2 m) inserts.
This crane is powered by a Cummins 275 HP (205 kW) diesel engine with an 18, 000 lb (8, 165 kg) removable hydraulic counterweight.
Additional standard features include four main steering modes, a full-power synchronized telescoping boom, and ergonomically designed crane controls.
