This Fleet Owned Grove GMK5130-2 is a 150 US ton all-terrain mobile crane manufactured in Germany by Grove, a Manitowoc brand and designed to efficiently used on both highways and challenging off-road job sites.

  • Reach: With optional boom extensions and a swingaway jib, the maximum tip height can reach up to 312 feet (92 m)
  • Suspension: The crane is equipped with exclusive MEGATRAK independent hydro-pneumatic suspension system. This keeps all wheels on the ground, enhancing traction and mobility on difficult terrain.
  • Chassis: A five-axle carrier with all-wheel multiple-mode steering provides excellent maneuverability in tight spaces.
  • Engine: The crane is powered by two engines:
    • A Mercedes-Benz OM502LA 8-cylinder diesel engine for the carrier.
    • A Mercedes-Benz OM904LA 4-cylinder diesel engine for the superstructure.
  • Transmission: A Mercedes G 240-16 automatic transmission with Electronic Pneumatic Shifting (EPS) provides 16 forward and 2 reverse speeds.
