The 4.5 million Euro project started with drilling piles and setting up the foundation and substructures for the bridge superstructure. The 750-ton Liebherr All Terrain supplied by Hofmann Kran was hired to set the 40-ton longitudinal bridge railings. The 750-tonner was configured with 210-ton of counterweight and required ten truck loads and assembled onsite.
The railings were brought in at night to not disrupt traffic and the lifts were flawlessly executed according to the contractor.
