Part of a crane struck a glass panel on the 3 World Trade Center Thursday night, according to authorities.
A crane lowered materials to the ground around 8:30 p.m. It was bringing the cable back up when wind caused part of the crane to hit a glass panel, fire officials said, according to AP.
There were no injuries, and no debris fell from the building, which is still under construction, according to fire officials, AP reported.
The window panel was on the 12th floor of the 45-story building, according to AP.
John Gallagher, a Tishman Construction spokesman, said the panel will be replaced, and safety inspectors are currently investigating the incident, CBS New York reported.
The 3 World Trade Center will be 80 stories when complete and is one of three skyscrapers replacing the Twin Towers, which were destroyed in the September 11th terror attacks in 2001.
